Any signs requiring a pictogram and copy must be a minimum size of 6x8 for 1 line of copy or 6x9 for 2 lines of copy. Most signs do not require pictograms. • All text and braille must be at least 3/8" from all edges of the sign. • There must be a 70% contrast between the background and copy colors. • Text size must be a minimum of 5/8" and must not succeed 2".
